Welcome back My Dear Readers to The Other Shoe. First, I would like to thank everyone for their kind words of support during my difficult day yesterday. Yesterday I had an appointment with the doctor to evaluate a lump on my face, at my jaw line. Thankfully this lump is not any kind of tumor. For that news I am extremely grateful. However, I was told that it is a swollen lymph node..
.
Now, this lump has been with me since before Halloween last year. Yesterday, the doctor told me is highly unusual for lymph node to remain swollen for such a significant link the time. Further, he was very surprised that the lymph node had not dissipated during a recent course of antibiotic treatment. Therefore, I am to schedule a CT scan of my head and back, as soon as possible, using contrast dyes
.
I have been plagued with frequent and recurring fevers since October of last year. Of the three doctors I have seen so far none of them are able to tell me what disease or infection state is present. In the next week or so I hope to find in infectious disease specialist. This doctor should be better equipped to help isolate and identify the disease state afflicting me.
.
My Dear Readers, regardless of my condition I want to assure you I will continue to present content, on a regular basis. Today’s episode of ‘The Horror in Smithville’ will be presented as soon as possible. I have some matters of personal medical needs I must to attend to, right now. However, as soon as these needs are seen to I will begin work completing, editing, and publishing today’s highly anticipated episode. For My Readers in the Eastern and Central time zone here in the Americas, I will do my very best to make sure publication is before prime time.
.
As in all things, My Dear Readers, ‘the best laid plans of mice and men…’. I will do everything I am capable to make sure this episode is published, for your enjoyment, today. Now, just as soon as I have any further medical information I will relay it to all of you as quickly as possible. I appreciate everyone’s understanding and support during this very trying and difficult time.
As always I am deeply honored that you come here and read my work.
.
Thank YOU!
