Special Banana-Nut Muffins with Praline Topping

       Welcome back My Dear Readers, to The Other Shoeand another recipe with videos. Yesterday I brought you my Halloween Crock Pot Beef Stew with Videostoday I am bringing you my Special Daniel’s Banana Nut Muffins with Praline Top. This is one of my most favorite Holiday Recipes. As you can tell, My Dear Readers, I am adding many more recipes for the holidays, this year.

This is a very easy recipe to make, you likely have all the items needed in your kitchen, and only takes minutes to prepare. Take an off the shelf Banana-Nut Muffin boxed product. I prefer the Krusteaz product, but am using the Betty Crocker boxed product in today’s video. Prepare the muffins as directed on the box, and add one heaping tablespoon of gluten. [FYI Those with concerns about Gluten Allergies’. If you believe you have a gluten allergy, and haven’t been tested by an Allergist/Immunologist you likely do not have a gluten allergy. Just last year the Journal of the American Medical Association, in conjunction with the American Association of Epidemiologists, addressed the surreal increase in food allergies in Americans. Your General Practitioner is not qualified to run allergy tests, only believe and act on results by an Allergist/Immunologist. Most Americans that think they have a gluten allergy… actually, just ate too much of a sweet in one sitting.] Mix as indicated and set aside while you prepare the following.

Take two tablespoons of brown sugar, ¼ cup of walnuts and one teaspoon of cinnamon. Grind the walnuts to a fine consistency, add to the brown sugar and cinnamon. Now, sprinkle this mixture on the top of each muffin. Place muffins into a preheated oven, preheated @ 25 degrees lower than indicated on the box. Bake until golden brown, let stand to cool and serve.
