Back in the Saddle Again!

.
Welcome back My Dear Shoevians to The Other ShoeWith just about one month passing, I am here to announce that (barring any unforeseen circumstances) I will be returning to writing and publishing here at The Other ShoeI have obtained a minimal internet connection ( a DSL connection) here in my home… and I now have a home ‘landline’ telephone, too. All of my closest friends? Contact me via Facebook, Email or call me and I will be happy to share this new landline telephone number.
.
My health has not improved. Matter of fact, it has taken a turn for the worse, and my neck pain is at its greatest since my head injury, nearly thirty years ago. However, it was my lack of a reliable internet connection that prevented me from keeping my publishing schedule, it was not my pain. For the past five years I have written, and published, to help keep my mind off of my cervical pain.
.
Since I wrote last I have; attended an appointment with my primary care physician, my oncologist and my all-new provider of orthotics. The crux of; I have been fitted for a brand new (and greatly advanced and redesigned) brace for my ‘left-foot-drop’, my pain medications have been increased and I have opted to not proceed with chemo or radiation therapy during the holidays!
.
I will revisit my oncologist, and the potential for treatment, during the first quarter of next year. As well, I am working to find a brand new neurosurgeon. Whereas I do not believe that there is a viable surgery to address my degenerative neurological disease state, I am open to starting a new relationship with a new neurosurgeon… with limitations.
.
Over the next two weeks I hope to write and publish the following:
.
  • Article Revealing the CIVIL (and possible CRIMINAL) PROSECUTION of Donald Trump over his‘Trump University’.
  • Any/ALL news out of the Curiosity rover and Mars Space Observatory projects at NASA/JPL.
  • NEWEST images from; Hubble, New Horizons, and Chandra spacecraft.
.
As well, I (hope) to provide at least one article addressing the rampant (and weekly) ‘Mass Shootings’ here in America. I know that I have a fair amount of readers, especially in Texas, that are ardent supporters of mass gun ownership… I am not of that mindset.
.
Finally, My Dear Shoevians, I would like to ask for your kindness and support in one small matter. Over the coming weeks… would you please notify any; friends, family, and acquaintances that Danny is ‘Back in the Saddle Again!’
.
Adieu!
.
Thank you!

Bing Pulse - Is Trump's Antics Helping our Harming GOP? Results in Article

According to today's Bing Pulse survey, held each day at 1PM Eastern, the media has it all wrong about Trump and his antics! Today, during the Thomas Robert's show, MSNBC help a live poll, here was the question: "Is Donald Trump's blunt rhetoric helping or hurting the GOP?
The answer may well surprise you, the American people and the American media outlets. The answer is below!"
Source: Bing Pulse
 .
Welcome back My Dear Shoevians to The Other ShoeToday may well mark a change in just how Americans and the American media view the caustic antics of one Donald J. Trump. At least, one would hope that this poll's results would garner notice and gain weight in our Presidential Primary. I know, for a fact, My Dear Shoevians, that I took notice and decided to push aside my regularly scheduled article to feature these results. First, in an effort to be truthful and forthright to all of you, My Dear Shoevians, did take part in this survey. However, I seriously doubt that my one vote shifted the results in any substantive fashion. . This poll was taken via Bing Pulse during the hour broadcast of the 'Live with Thomas Roberts' on MSNBC. I cannot get the breakdown of the survey. How many people, how it broke down according to party, and total number of votes. However, the ending vote was quite clear and speaks volumes! At the beginning of the hour the poll was heavily leaning towards "Helpful", meaning that the voters thought the caustic antics of one Donald J. Trump was "Helping" the GOP brand. Curious and curiouser, I thought to myself because the vat majority of people I have conversations with thought quite the opposite!
 .
As the hour progressed so did the voting. I was watching the show on TV, and the voting trend on my PC. A most amazing this began to happen. After the announcement, on air, that the vote broke down 75% Helping to 25% Harming I began to see much more activity. As the activity grew, and the number of Americans voting, a drastic shift began to appear. This shift is the reason for this article today, and Why I believe that American Media are getting it wrong about Trump! . As the hour moved on, so happened a drastic shift in the voting pattern. With every passing minuet the poll shifted from a majority thinking Donald Trump's caustic antics were "Helpful to the GOP" to vast majority not voting that Donald Trump's caustic antics were actually "Harmful to the GOP"I watched and watched as the numbers greatly shifted in just a matter of less than an hour! By the end of the show, and the hour long polling period, a drastic shift was not a reality.
 .
At the end of it all, and all the votes were counted and tabulated, the final numbers did appear. On the question "Is Donald Trump's blunt rhetoric helping or hurting the GOP?" the numbers told my story: 66% voted that it HARMS the GOP and 34% voted it was helpful! Oy Vey! That is quite a change from the top of the hour, and the beginning of the polling. However, the American public have spoken! This is my 'Take-Away'! Regardless of the (sic) love affair the media outlets have for one Donald J. Trump? The AMERICAN PEOPLE strongly agree that his caustic (and self-aggrandizing) antics are HARMFUL to the GOP!
.
  Donald Trump Defends "Blood" Comments
.
Now, the question remains, "Will American Media Outlets CHANGE?" I am not hopeful in that it appears that a majority of the sick individuals in American that enjoy these caustic antics (and 'Reality TV) are the 'Target Demographic' of American Media Outlets. That these 'news' agencies are merely tools of their corporate executives and all are really just whores. Whores for attention. Whores for ratings, just like Donald J. Trump. Because, if we have proved nothing, today, we have proved that Donald J. Trump is a Media Whore and will keep up his caustic antics harming the GOP in the process. . The vast majority of American know that Donald J. Trump (Media Whore Exceptional) will never cal 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue his home. Never in a million years. However, for the next many months we, the American people, will have to endure his caustic antics while our nation's media outlets play to the whore.
 Adieu!
 .
 Thank you!

Donald Trump Defends 'blood' Comments Sunday!

Donald Trump Defends "Blood" Comments

"If you think Donald Trump has anything to apologize for this Sunday, then you’re probably a deviant.

So said the billionaire real-estate mogul turned presidential candidate on multiple Sunday morning shows, as the GOP presidential candidate refused to apologize for his criticisms of Fox News host Megyn Kelly, which many in his own party had deemed misogynistic.

“I have so much respect for women and I will help women in terms of the health issues,” Trump told NBC’s Chuck Todd on “Meet the Press.”

“I was one of the first people to put women in charge of big construction jobs,” he added.

During the first Republican presidential primary debate Thursday night, Kelly, who was moderating, confronted Trump with his history of referring to various women as “fat pigs, dogs, slobs and disgusting animals,” then asked if that reflected “the temperament of a man we should elect as president?”

Trump called Kelly’s question “ridiculous” and “off-base,” in an interview with CNN the following day.

“You could see there was blood coming out of her eyes,” Trump told CNN host Don Lemon on Friday night. “Blood coming out of her wherever.”

Welcome back My Dear Shoevians to The Other ShoeAs I told you, I am going to keep all of you, My Dear Shoevians, up-to-date on the fall of Donald Trump. Today, Sunday August 10th, while making appearances on several of the Sunday Morning Political Talk Shows Mr. Trump doubled-down on his "blood coming from wherever" comment at the Redstate convention. Where on would think that a politician would have much better political sense, than to stick-to-his-guns on generally negatively reviewed comment.
.
Americans are used to our politicians making faux pas but we expect them to, at the first opportunity, to clean-up or backtrack from statements that generally offend. Now, I do not consider myself a "deviant". I am a normal red-blooded American that likes steaks and shrimp, enjoys fishing and camping, and loves the Christmas Holidays. However, according to Mr. Trump, it appears, that I am "deviant"!
.
While appearing on Meet the Press, Sunday, Trump told Chuck Todd that when he said "Blood coming out of her whatever." That he really meant that by "whatever" he really meant "Kelly's ears and nose"! Seriously? OK, let us take this in context. Trump was complaining that Megyn Kelly was "attacking" him and it was due to irritability, right? So, since when has a woman being irritable generally attributed to bleeding out of their ears and noseEveryone knows what Mr. Trump was referring to, right?
.
Yet, instead of owning up to his; insulting, disgusting and sexist remark he doubles-down with "ears and nose". Then, as if that is not enough reverse-damage-control? Mr. Trump adds insult to injury by adding; "“I went to the Wharton School of Finance, the toughest place to get into. I was a great student. I don’t talk that way.” ???? What, pray tell, does going to a finance school (not a prepatory school, not a parochial school) have to do with learning how not to treat women when it comes to discussing the reproductive cycle in public!
.
With that, My Dear Shoevians, I leave you with Trump's newest political debacle and wish you a very Good and Productive Week! As always, if you have enjoyed your visit here today? Please, be sure to 'Like' and 'Share' this article with all your; family, friends, co-workers and Facebook Friends through your social media outlets. There are very convenient icons, at the bottom of all articles, to make this task easy!
.
Adieu!
.
Thank you!

'The beginning of the end': Inside Trump's RedState meltdown | MSNBC

Trump at Saturday's Redstate Event
.
"ATLANTA – The conservative RedState Gathering began Thursday night with activists cheering wildly at a debate party as Donald Trump dismissed a question from Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly about misogynist rhetoric as “political correctness.” Less than 36 hours later, the same audience erupted into applause and a few scatted boos Saturday as host Erick Erickson announced he had banned Trump from the event for suggesting Kelly was menstruating when she asked the question. “I think he has disqualified himself,” Erickson told reporters, adding that the episode “probably is the beginning of the end” for Trump.RELATED: Trump speech canceled over Megyn Kelly commentsIf there’s one thing Trump has proved so far, it’s that nobody can predict what’s going to happen in the polls. But the political winds seemed to have changed here in Atlanta, where Trump wore out his welcome in an extremely short period with the hardline voters who should be his base. To hear Erickson describe it, the Trump cancellation is the start of a broader exorcism for the conservative movement in which they must confront their snarling demons to find salvation the other side. “I have emails from people referring to Megyn Kelly as a whore, I have emails from people referring to me as gay, I have emails referring to the president by the n-word and [saying] Donald trump is standing up to all of us,” he said onstage. “We will not gain the White House if we are not going to be happy warriors.”. Trump punished for Megyn Kelly attack
Msnbc’s Benjy Sarlin joins Alex Witt to explain the reasoning behind why Donald Trump was dis-invited to speak at the RedState gathering and how the GOP feels about this presidential candidate.Language like this prompted whoops of approval Saturday, but it may have fallen flat even a day earlier. In over a dozen interviews before Trump’s feud with Kelly, RedState participants offered strikingly similar assessments of the billionaire populist. Nearly every attendee who talked to MSNBC praised Trump for channeling their anger at the status quo, for drawing attention to issues like illegal immigration, and – perhaps most of all – for giving establishment Republicans fits with his outrageous rhetoric. " The beginning of the end': Inside Trump's RedState meltdown | MSNBC.

.
Welcome back My Dear Shoevians to The Other ShoeI had promised myself to not cover Trump anymore. However, if it is his fall from grace, as we see here today, then I am quite happy to break with my promise. This article tells most of the story, although there is a part that has been omitted. During an interview, at the Redstate convention, Donald Trump answered a question about Megyn Kelly where he blamed her questioning of him (on Thursday) to a woman's monthly reproductive cycle
.
I'll let that sink in a for a few moments. It seems that Trump is the bully-on-the-playground of our national political contest. For me, there is no room for a bully in the White House or on the road to the White House. This should spell ultimate disaster, fro Trump, even for his most ardent supporters. However, we will see if Trump is made of Teflon.
 .
Have a great weekend and, as always, if you have enjoyed your visit? Be sure to ‘Like’ and ‘Share’so that all your; family, friends, co-workers and acquaintances can know just where to come for all their ‘Trump’ news!

AMES, Iowa – "Donald Trump said on Saturday that GOP Sen. John McCain of Arizona was “not a war hero” because he had been taken prisoner by the Vietcong, prompting a firestorm of criticism from Republican leaders.“He’s not a war hero,” Trump said during an onstage Q&A at the conservative Family Leadership Summit, an event that features a number of Republican presidential contenders. “He’s a war hero because he was captured. I like people that weren’t captured, okay?”

Welcome back My Dear Shoevians to The Other Shoe. This is just WAY out of line, IMHO! I am a well known Democrat, but even I (myslef) find this just too hyperbolic for ANY party at ANY time. I am reading that, shortly after making these distrubing remarks, he DENIED that he EVER SAID IT!!! My Dear Shoevians, America and Americans MUST make a STAND against this type of gut wrenching hyperbolic rhetoric. . What do YOU think? Share you feelings, thoughts, impressions below with COMMENTS!
.
ENJOY!
